Getting Started

This guide explains the basic Classify flow for a page editor or admin reviewing a Confluence page.

Make sure classification levels have been configured for the space or inherited from a global template.

TODO: Confirm product behavior. Confirm whether a page can be classified before any space configuration exists.

  1. Open a Confluence page.
  2. Open the Classify control.
  3. Select a classification level.
  4. Review the visual banner or page header style.
  5. Check permission guidance if it appears.

TODO: Confirm product behavior. Confirm the exact entry point name in the Confluence page UI.

Choose the classification level that best matches the page content.

For example, a general internal policy page may use Internal, while a salary planning page may use Confidential.
