Internal documentation
Section titled “Internal documentation”A company wants every internal policy page to show that it is intended for employees only.
Classification levels:
- Pending Classification.
- Internal.
- Confidential.
Value:
Readers immediately understand whether a page is internal-only and should not be shared externally unless approved.

Confidential project spaces
Section titled “Confidential project spaces”A project team manages sensitive planning pages in Confluence.
Classify helps:
- Mark sensitive project pages as Confidential.
- Make classification visible to readers.
- Guide users to review page permissions.
- Reduce accidental oversharing.

HR and finance pages
Section titled “HR and finance pages”HR and finance teams may store policies, compensation plans or budget documents in Confluence.
Classify helps:
- Separate general internal pages from confidential pages.
- Make sensitive content visually obvious.
- Encourage permission review.

External collaboration spaces

Classify helps:
- Distinguish internal-only pages from shareable partner pages.
- Guide editors before sharing information.
- Support better governance in mixed-audience spaces.
